The quality of the sound was good although sometimes the music was too loud to hear the singing.

Sound: This is the first and only time I have seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers live, and though the volume could have been turned up a notch higher, overall it was very good. The lead singer (Kiedis) could have sang better but it was still a good performance. The quality of the sound was good although sometimes the music was too loud to hear the singing. // 9

Perfomance: I didn't have the best view of the show as a massive pole was blocking me of ever seeing Kiedis sing, but I could still see the other three members. They started off with a brilliant energetic version of 'Can't stop', which was visually stunning with all of the visual effects. It was followed by 'Dani California' and then a performance of 'Otherside' which was memorable. Then they started to play some album tracks such as 'Shes Only 18', 'Throw Away Your Television', '21st Century', 'This Velvet Glove' and 'Charlie'. That was followed by 'Fortune Faded', 'Snow (Hey Oh) and the old 'Me And My Friends'. Probably the best performance of the show was 'Don't Forget Me' with phenomenal guitar work. They then played 'Stadium Arcadium' and a few other songs which I can not remember. The last song before the Encore was a crowd pleasing performance of 'By The Way'. After a break Flea came out with his trumpet and played that for a while before a solo performance of 'Maybe' by John Frusciante. The first Encore song was the old classic 'I could have lied' followed with an atmospheric performance of 'Give It Away' to finish off the show. After that Flea and John did a 15 minute instrumental to finish up. I was a bit dissapointed that they didn't play 'Scar Tissue' or 'Californication' or 'Under The Bridge' but besides that it was a great performance. // 9

Overall Impression: The show was at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia on the 10th of April 2007. The opener was Har Mar Superstar Who was repeatedly booed by the crowd which was quite humorous. The ticket was $99.90 in Australian dollars but it was defintely worth it. I will definitely try to get a ticket to their next gig if they come to Australia again. // 9
