Red Hot Chili Peppers: UK (London), June 19, 2004
John Fruciante's guitars sounded awesome as did Flea's bass and Chad's drums. Anthony's vocals were great as usual.

Sound: Incredible very loud. John Fruciante's guitars sounded awesome as did Flea's bass and Chad's drums. Anthony's vocals were great as usual. // 10

Perfomance: They opened with Can't stop which I felt was a pefect start as it really got the crowd started they also did songs like Around the World which they did really well, Scar Tissue, By The Way, Zephyr Song, Parralell Universe, Get On Top, Californication, I Like Dirt, Right On Time, My Lovely Man, Under The Bridge, some more which I can't remember, some covers and ended on a high with Give it away. There were some cool bits between songs like when Flea said that George Bush and Tony Blair are in a homosexual relationship then after the next song apoligised by saying it was an offence to the gay community also Chad did some drum solos like we will rock you and walk this way which were great also Flea played the trumpet with some really cool effects. The scene decoration was excellent most notably in parralell universe which had some really cool artwork of a dragon. // 10

Overall Impression: The gig was in England, London, Hyde Park, 19th June 2004. Tickets cost 40 (inc. booking fee) which was well worth the Money as I actually got the best view of the band that I could have got for the money. Chick's on speed opened the concert and in a word they were crap they got booed and bottled off the stage which was fun watching. James Brown was good although he did go on a bit too long he was really popular with the crowd did alot of famous songs like I feel good and Sex Machine. The whole thing was excellent apart from chicks on speed Who were appaling. I would reccomend this concert to anyone it will be coming out on CD and DVD soon which I can't wait for. When their next in London I will definitely be going. // 10
